Hire A Hero - Hire A Veteran"  Job Fair & Expo

More than 2,000 job seekers, which included over 400 Veterans, Reservists and National Guard members, participated in the largest job fair in the nation -- "Hire A Hero - Hire A Vet" -- on October 25, 2007 at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

The Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, the California Employment Development Department, and WorkSource Centers hosted the Job Fair in response to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Initiative to open employment and education avenues for veterans.  It was the ninth in a series of 10 statewide job and resource fairs.

Thanks to all of our businesses and organizations, especially Wells Fargo Bank, Sherman Oaks Hospital and The Military Order of the Purple Heart,  that stepped up to the plate to honor and support our Vets!
