STARS OF THE VALLEY HONORED AT
10TH ANNUAL VALLEY OF THE STARS GALA

Over 550 people attended the 10th
annual Valley of the Stars Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony at CBS
Studios in Studio City on July 14, 2007 celebrating outstanding
achievement in the San Fernando Valley in the areas of business,
education and arts & entertainment. The 2007 “Star of the
Valley” awards were presented to: Westfield Group for business,
Los Angeles Valley College for education, and actress Betty
White for entertainment. Popular television game show host Wink
Martindale was master of ceremonies.
The Star of the Valley awards are presented each year by the
Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, a private
non-profit economic development and marketing organization
committed to improving the economy of the San Fernando Valley.
The Alliance achieves this mission by retaining and creating
quality jobs through business assistance, workforce development,
regional marketing, and educational programs. The Alliance is
