Daniel Blake is a Professor of Economics and Director of the San Fernando Valley Economic Research Center at California State University, Northridge.  The Center tracks and reports on economic and demographic trends in the San Fernando Valley.  As Director, Dr. Blake prepares the annual San Fernando Valley Economic Report and the CSUN San Fernando Valley Economic Forecast.  These reports are the authoritative sources of economic and demographic information for the San Fernando Valley.

In addition, Dr. Blake teaches MBA and economic courses at CSUN, and is a member of the California Employment Development Department, Labor Market Information Division’s Advisory Group.  Dr. Blake is also the co-author of a recent Upjohn book, “Training That Works,” along with several journal articles on state training program policies and outcomes.
