INTERNATIONAL TRADE CONFERENCE - 

This year's conference, held Thursday, November 8, at the Hilton Universal City & Towers, drew more than 200 people from around the region. Distinguished keynote speaker John Wu, chief technical officer (CTO) for Alibaba.com, spoke on how changes in technology are impacting international trade, and LAEDC economists Jack Kyser and Ken Ackbarali spoke on California's current economy and its impact on the Valley's economy.  Panels of trade experts discussed how to engage in international trade and where.
